RESET is an event that brings families, children and young people together with local service providers from the VCSE sector, statutory services and public health to develop a shared understanding of the impact of mental health on children, families and young people.

RESET provides an opportunity to share life stories and experience with a view to developing shared solutions to the issues facing the system by putting people at the heart of service delivery.

Calm Connections is working with Manchester and Trafford Local Care Organisation to deliver 2 RESET Events in Wythenshawe and an event in Trafford Central to further connect with families, schools and the community in terms of mental health and wellbeing support. The theme of the events in Wythenshawe will be the additional challenges created by transitions, whether this is school, moving, life circumstances, and the mental health and wellbeing support available.

These community based, public facing events will include the following elements:

Mental health and wellbeing market place – a place to come and meet the organisations who are providing mental health and wellbeing support to families and young people in Wythenshawe and find out what’s on offer.

100 Voices Exhibition – An exhibition of creative art to capture and amplify the voices of children, young people and parents/caregivers from across Wythenshawe

Have your Say - a number of interactive activities to share your message around the changes you want to see for your children and young people’s mental health.
